Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated the nation for completing 200 crore doses of Covid vaccination. 98 percent of adults in the country have completed two doses of the vaccine. According to the figures released by the Ministry of Health, 98 percent of adults in the country have received both doses of the vaccine and 90 percent have received one dose. Among the 15-18 age group, 82 percent received one dose and 68 percent received two doses, the report said. Vaccination of those above 15 years of age started on January 3, 2022.
