The 21st century will belong to India; President Ram Nath Kovind's farewell speech gave confidence to the nation.

Addressing the nation, President Ram Nath Kovind is leaving office. In his farewell speech, he stated that he reached the position of President five years ago through the representatives elected by the people of the country and thanked the representatives and people who had placed their trust in him. He said that he remembers the freedom fighters who fought for independent India and paid tribute to them.

The country is on a journey to make the 21st century India's. He said that the country has the capacity for that. In the 19th century, there were many struggles for the independence of the country. But many people who contributed to it only out of patriotism were later forgotten. But the President pointed out that today they are being given due recognition. Dr.Rajendra Prasad, Dr.S Radhakrishnan, He came to this position as the successor of distinguished persons like APJ Abdul Kalam. Ram Nath Kovind said that he has tried to fulfill all the responsibilities to the best of his ability while being the President.

An unforgettable moment in his mind during his tenure as President was when he went to his village in Kanpur and bowed to the feet of his teachers. The tradition of being associated with one's village or city, with one's schools and teachers, is unique to Indian culture. He requested the younger generation to follow this tradition. It is to not forget our heritage and roots. That is the essence of India, said Ram Nath Kovind.

The country is celebrating Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav on August 15. It will enter the 25-year 'Amrit Kala' leading up to the 100th anniversary of independence. From Tilak Gokhale, Bhagat Singh, Netaji, Jawaharlal Nehru, Sardar Patel, Shyamaprasad Mukherjee to Sarojini Naidu and Kamaladevi Chattopadhyay, the India of today is the result of the efforts of a wide range of leaders. "Never in the history of mankind have so many people come together for one cause," he said.

He expressed that he appreciated the opportunity to meet the strong jawans of the armed forces and paramilitary forces. He said that their patriotism is inspiring. Climate change is affecting the Earth in a big way. It was also reiterated that environment, land, water and air should be protected for the coming generation.
