The new incarnation of Royal Enfield, Hunter 350.

The Royal Enfield Hunter 350 has been leaked as it is all set to launch in India. The information about the bullet was leaked through the type approval documents. The company was going to launch the vehicle next month. According to the leaked information, the Bullet will be powered by a 349.34 cc single cylinder engine producing 20 bhp. This is the same amount produced by the motor in the Classic 350 and Meteor 350.

The leaked document also shows the size and weight of the bullet. It is clear that Hunter 350 will be shorter in length and height than the Classic 350 and Meteor 350. Hunter 350 has a wheelbase of 1,370 mm while the Classic is 1,390 mm and the Meteor is 1,400 mm. Apart from the engine, Hunter 350 has the same braking and suspension mechanism as the Meteor. The vehicle will have dual-channel ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) along with front and rear disc brakes. Its suspension setup includes conventional telescopic forks and dual rear shock absorbers at the front.

The swingarm of Hunter 350 is shorter while the rounded headlamp and Y-shaped alloy wheels look similar to the Meteor. Unlike the other two Bullets, Hunter 350 features a uniquely designed fuel tank and a single-piece seat. The taillamps, grab handles and mudguards are also very different.  Earlier, details of the upcoming Hunter 350 were leaked from the Chennai-based manufacturer. A fly screen and a pillion backrest were evident at the front. The leaked image clearly shows the looks of the halogen headlight assembly, LED turn indicators, compact exhaust canister and alloy wheels. As the procedure is completed in early July, it is expected that the launch will take place in early August.
