As part of the Prime Minister's Skill India Mission, the National Apprenticeship Fair organized by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship at 200 centers in the country will play a crucial role in solving the unemployment of academics. More than 1000 companies in various fields participated in the fair, which opened job opportunities for tens of thousands of youth. They can choose from more than five hundred trades. A feature of the fair is that companies can get as many interested and interested job seekers as they need from a single platform. Regularly organizing Apprentice Mela and selectees get stipend online as per the criteria is a big attraction. Apart from this, candidates will also get recognized certificates of National Council for Vocational Education and Training. The success of this method is shown by the fact that in the previous Apprentice fair organized at the national level, out of two lakh applicants, about three quarter lakhs were given a chance. There is no doubt that this can bring about a positive change in the lives of a large number of young people.
India has the largest youth population in the country. Over fifty percent of our population is under the age of 25, and over sixty-five percent is under the age of 35. If they can be made skilled and assigned to work areas, the economic progress will be huge. But we are unable to link this youthfulness of population with economic growth. Even though India is the youngest country in the world, the skilled workforce is only 2%. This is a very low ratio compared to countries like America, China and Germany. Even though there is an increase in the number of educational institutions and intellectual development, we are not only unable to acquire employability skills, but we are very backward in this regard. In today's world, a strong economy requires skill and efficiency. This is where the National Apprenticeship Fair comes into play. It is a good thing that the new generation of young women are able to realize this.
