The Indian electric vehicle sector has grown by 108 percent in the last 2 years. Bengaluru has made the best achievement in the region. According to a survey conducted by CIEL HR Services, a recruitment and staffing company, metro cities have a large share of electric vehicles.
62 percent of the job placements in this sector took place in Bengaluru. The figures in other cities are 12 in Delhi, 9 in Pune, 6 in Coimbatore and 3 in Chennai. The survey was conducted under the title 'Electric Vehicle Sector Latest Employment Trends 2022'. The survey was based on 15,700 employees spread across 52 companies. The EV sector has hired 2,236 employees in the past six months.
The participation of women in the field of electric vehicles is also increasing day by day. Women are working in various companies like Kinetic Green, Mahindra Electric Mobility, Convergence Energy Services Limited, Electric Vehicles, Ampere Vehicles, etc.
